Why Guns Are Good (to have)

This is in response to the barrage of celebrities (namely Jim Carrey's today) among other people who have decided that the world would be wonderful if all guns disappeared.

Let's follow the logic: If we got rid of all the guns in the whole entire world, and some gunless but violent criminal decides he wants to kill me with (insert weapon here), and he is stronger and bigger than me, what am I supposed to do? Guns are equalizers, just like nukes. They are a necessary evil, because evil exists.

Why 'Following the Logic'

I'm 28, 38yrs old(?), a homemaker, coach, entrepreneur, mom, wife, former athlete, christian, etc...

I started this blog today because I think too many people fail to follow the logic of their life philosophies and theories. This is my attempt to follow said logic that I see in media or hear people talking about, and even my own. Sometimes it will be done snarky or sarcastically, but I'm always trying to keep it real. You may not always agree, but if you disagree, I ask that you please do so politely.
